Granite – Getting Started

Creating Your Quote

Before any actual work can begin, we would first like to meet with you to get an in-depth idea of the exact work you need done. This will allow us to provide you with a comprehensive estimate.

The estimate is created based on the following criteria:

  • The Material You Choose – If you are currently unsure, this will be based on standard materials.
  • Edge Profile
  • Splash Type – Back or Side
  • Cutouts

Once the comprehensive estimate has been given, the next step will be choosing the stone. After you make an appointment with our office, you will be taken to our showroom to find the stone to fit your needs.

Tips to remember:

Our staff is highly trained and will help with any questions you may have – don’t be afraid to ask any questions!
Bringing a sample of your current décor (such as wall colors, cabinet finishes, and any other tile in your home) will help in the selection process.

Once you have chosen the stone, we will inspect and tag the material before preparing your order.

Starting Your Project

The first step in the project execution is the Template Appointment. At this time, we will schedule a day for our staff to go to your site and assess your layout. During this time, feel free to ask any questions or relay any details you have in mind for your project.

Important Note: The cabinetry must be installed onsite and any sinks or appliances must be at the location of the project for any necessary inspection.

After the templates have been created and sent back to us, the project is ready to begin. At this time, a deposit must be made before the stone is cut or any fabrication has begun.

If the templates and stone have been approved and the deposit has been made, the cutting and fabrication will begin on your project. It will take approximately 10 business days before the installation is scheduled.

Installing Your Stone

After the cutting and fabrication has been completed, we will contact you to schedule the installation. When installing your product, we will use commercial sealants that have a standard warranty of one year. If you would like to upgrade to a lifetime warranty for your sealant, contact our office to discuss pricing details.

The average installation time for your counters is approximately 4 to 6 hours. We will do everything to ensure the counters are installed as quickly as possible.

Once the installation is complete, we will collect the balance of your payment.
